REIN MLS Announces New Board for 2022

Over the past two years, the real estate market in Hampton Roads and across the nation has changed dramatically. Real estate professionals are working hard to stay in-tune with the ever-evolving market, according to Liz Moore, the new President of the Board of Directors for the Real Estate Information Network, Inc. (REIN).

“As the local multiple listing service, REIN provides not just the products agents need to do their jobs, but it also provides the information professionals can use to enhance the services they offer to clients and potential clients,” said Moore, broker-owner of Liz Moore & Associates, which is headquartered on the Peninsula. “I’m excited to be involved in the partnership between REIN and its members, and our Board does its best to keep the partnership strong.”

As REIN’s 2022 President, Moore assumes the role from outgoing President Harry Cross, broker-owner of Cross Realty. The Board of Directors consists of representatives elected from and by REIN Stockholder firms. Directors serve a two-year term, with a new Executive Committee elected annually.

Joining Moore on the Executive Committee for 2022 are Gary Lundholm of The Real Estate Group, Vice President; Jon McAchran of At Coastal Realty, Secretary; and Art Zachary of Rose and Womble, Treasurer.

Serving as Directors are Dennis Cestra of Howard Hanna Real Estate Services; Amy Doll of RE/MAX Alliance; Dorcas Helfant-Browning of Coldwell Banker Real Estate Professionals; Kimberly Plourde of EXIT Realty Central; and Barbara Wolcott of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Towne Realty. Cross will serve as Past President.

REIN member agents and brokers work primarily in offices from Williamsburg into North Carolina, and includes Suffolk, Isle of Wight and Smithfield. They join those from Newport News, Hampton, James City County, York County, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Virginia Beach, and Chesapeake in serving home buyers and home sellers in the Hampton Roads region.

“The Board of Directors and REIN leadership are always looking for ways to help members do their jobs better and conduct business more efficiently,” Moore said. “That helps our members serve their clients and potential clients in the best possible way.”
